It was expected that it would open with Rs 100 crore, but the film could not make such a big opening. Thalapathy Vijay and Bobby Deol’s picture has earned Rs 78.27 crore from the worldwide box office on the first day. Which is better than many films released till now and Thalapathy Vijay should have got such a farewell.

Recently the report of SACNILC has come out. From which it was found that Thalapathy Vijay’s film ‘Jan Neta’ has done a business of Rs 41 crore from India on the very first day. At the same time, the total shows last day were 13,067, and the occupancy rate is 41.6. The gross collection of the film has also reached Rs 48.27 crore. Thalapathy Vijay has a separate fan base and his films seem to be getting full benefit from it. Apart from Vijay and Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde is also included in the picture.

Since the beginning of this year, all the films which have been released overseas have seen very good response. Be it Bollywood or South films. Now look at the public leader of Thalapathy Vijay. The picture has done a business of Rs 30 crore from overseas. Actually the budget of the film is said to be between Rs 300-500 crore. To cross this, the film will have to do very good business. Especially the film can earn well on weekends only. Anyway, the beginning has been quite solid.
