- According to the company, not all cars are affected, only certain units have been affected.
- Some cars of the Mercedes-Benz CLE Coupe produced between 2024 and 2025
- Some of the units in the Mercedes-AMG CLE lineup produced in 2025
- Some of the Mercedes-AMG C-Class cars produced between October and November 2024
- All these together make a total of 149 units on the recall list.
What exactly is the problem with Emergency Stop Assist?
Emergency Stop Assist is an important safety feature. If the driver is unresponsive for any reason, the system monitors steering movements and can bring the vehicle to a slow stop if necessary and initiate an emergency call.
