Joe Root made a great record even after getting out for 15 runs, became the first England cricketer to do so in 148 years
As soon as he scored the 15th run of his innings, Root completed his 22000 runs in international cricket and became the first player from England and the ninth player in the world to do so. Before him, only greats like Sachin Tendulkar, Kumar Sangakkara, Virat Kohli, Ricky Ponting, Mahela Jayawardene, Jacques Kallis, Rahul Dravid and Brian Lara had achieved this feat.
