Out 4 times in 15 balls, Virat Kohli could not face Bumrah in the nets

The second Test match between India and Bangladesh is to be played from September 27 at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. Both the teams are practicing hard for this test match but star batsman Virat Kohli's bad phase continues in the nets as well. According to the latest media reports, Kohli could not play Jasprit Bumrah in the nets and was out 4 times in 15 balls.

Virat also performed very poorly in the first Test match against Bangladesh in Chennai. Virat scored 6 and 17 runs in both the innings, with Hasan Mahmood dismissing him in the first innings and Bangladesh spinner Mehdi Hasan Miraz taking his wicket in the second innings. After Virat's flop show in the first test, all eyes are on the second test match in Kanpur and every cricket fan is waiting to see a big innings from Virat's bat.

But before the match, Virat's struggle continued in the nets and he was seen bowing down in front of Bumrah. According to the Indian Express, he faced 15 balls against fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah in the nets and was 'out' four times. Bumrah's fourth ball hit his pad and Bumrah shouted, “Samne laga hai.”

Two balls later, Kohli attempted to play the ball outside the off-stump, which took the outside edge of his bat. After this the fast bowler shifted his line to middle and leg stump due to which he got dodged twice in a row. Bumrah said, “The last one was a short leg catch.”

After playing Bumrah, Kohli moved to the second net, where spin trio Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel were bowling, but his struggle did not end here either. Kohli tried to challenge Jadeja, but the star batsman missed the ball three times while trying to play an inside-out shot.
