15 flights diverted due to low visibility at Delhi Airport, passengers face problems

15 aircraft scheduled to land at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport on Monday were diverted. Currently, the weather condition in Delhi remains quite severe due to which low visibility has crossed the limit and the temperature has also fallen. During this period, flights of Air India, IndiGo and SpiceJet have been affected.

Confirmed by officials

Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has confirmed that the plane was landed due to a captain with no experience in CAT-III operations. This kind of situation has come to light due to severe fog at IGI Airport. Visibility will reach 100-150 meters at 11 pm on Sunday.

During this period, visibility at Safdarjung Airport had also reduced to 150 m. Air India has given information on social media post X that people have to face problems due to poor visibility in Delhi.
