TCL has introduced two new ultra-premium smart TVs, the TCL Max163M and Max163M Pro. Both the TVs have a large 163-inch Micro LED display. The Max163M features a 163-inch micro LED display, containing more than 24.88 million self-emissive micro LED chips. This panel supports up to 4K resolution and achieves a peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits. For performance, TCL offers its Micro LED Picture Enhancement Engine, which is based on a 12nm SoC and delivers 1.6T of computing power. According to the company, with the help of AI, this system optimizes contrast, sharpness and color in real-time. Both models have a quad-core Cortex-A73 CPU and Mali-G57 GPU, along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Connectivity includes four HDMI 2.1 ports, USB 3.0 and 2.0 support. This TV has an ultra-thin, bezel-less design.
The Pro’s display has been further upgraded, with a 4K 120Hz refresh rate, 4K 120Hz signal processing and MEMC support. According to the company, the pixel-wise refresh rate reaches 3840Hz. Which improves motion smoothness and clarity. Both TVs use organic materials such as GaN and GaP to manufacture micro-LED panels, which the company claims can have a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours.

A nanosecond-level response time is also provided, reducing motion blur. The display also includes features such as grayscale segmentation, multi-layer gamma correction and pixel-level chip calibration for full-area luminance and color calibration.
