Other factors include institutional reputation, faculty/student ratio, internationalization, international research networks, employability, and sustainability, each contributing around 5-15%.
The top 10 universities include four from mainland China, three from Hong Kong, two from Singapore, and one from South Korea.
The top four remain unchanged from last year: Peking University, University of Hong Kong, National University of Singapore, and Nanyang Technological University.
The remaining universities in the top 10 are Fudan University, Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Yonsei University, and City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK).
QS is one of the three major university ranking organizations, alongside Times Higher Education (THE) and the Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU).
Currently, ARWU’s list does not include any Vietnamese universities.
