17 year old cricketer passes away: Sad news is coming out from the cricket world. 17-year-old Absi Ahmed, resident of Poulton-le-Filde, England, has died. In fact, on April 7, the body of Absi Ahmed was recovered by the police. However, now the dead body has been confirmed in a post issued by Fylde Cricket Club. The club has also expressed grief over Absi’s death and expressed condolences. In the year 2014, Absi represented the third XI.
Police found the dead body with difficulty
Absi Ahmed’s body was taken out with the help of police, fire brigade, ambulance, HM Coast Guard. After the body was found, Superintendent Patrick O’Hara, Cumbria Police Force, said: “The thoughts and sympathies of the entire rescue team are with the family and friends of the deceased, who are being assisted by investigators. I would also like to thank the local farmers who assisted in getting rescue teams and equipment by road to the search area.”
Absie was a student of Blackpool Sixth Form and was also a member of Fylde Cricket Club. He used to play junior cricket for Filed Cricket Club. He got his first senior cap in the year 2024. There is a wave of mourning in the club after his death.
The club also expressed grief
Fylde Cricket Club spokesperson expressed grief over Absi’s death. He said “All of us at Fylde Cricket Club would like to express our deepest condolences to our Third XI captain Adil and his family, who lost his brother Absi earlier this week. Absi played junior cricket at the club and was proudly awarded senior cap number 205 when he represented the Third XI in 2024.
