According to the information, two apples and a handwash bottle were stolen from the chamber of a sessions judge in Lahore. After this the police of Punjab province came into action. Police said on Tuesday that the FIR has been registered at Islampura police station in Lahore on the complaint of the judge’s reader. The reader has said that the judge himself had directed him to file a complaint.

According to the FIR, on December 5, two apples and a handwash bottle were stolen from the chamber of Additional Sessions Judge Noor Muhammad Basmal. It said the total value of the stolen goods was PKR 1,000. Lahore Police has registered a case under Section 380 of the Pakistan Penal Code. Under this section, the culprit can be punished with imprisonment of up to seven years, fine or both.
