2 big housing projects in Prayagraj; 1500 bighas will be developed with Rs 3000 crores
Bureau Prayagraj- Under the Chief Minister Expansion Scheme, Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) is going to develop two new big residential schemes. Under these schemes, more than three thousand residential and commercial plots (PLATs) will be sold in Jhunsi and Hetapatti areas. It is estimated that around Rs 2500 to 3000 crore will be spent on these two projects.
Residential scheme will be built on 1000 bighas in Jhunsi: VC Rishiraj of Prayagraj Development Authority said that PDA will develop a residential scheme on about 1000 bighas of land in Jhunsi area. About 2000 plots will be prepared in this scheme, which will be sold to the common people. Keeping in mind the facilities of the people in the residential area, parks will also be constructed, so that the elderly can get better facilities for walking and children can play.
Second scheme will be developed in Hetapatti area in 500 bighas: Second residential scheme will be developed in Hetapatti area. There is a plan to prepare more than one thousand residential and commercial plots on about 500 bighas of land.
About 1000 bighas of land will be taken in Mukundpur, Chakia Hinauta and Chak Hinauta villages of Jhunsi area, for which land will be acquired from more than 500 farmers. At the same time, 500 bighas of land will be taken from more than 200 farmers in three villages including Neemin Khurd and Narayanpur of Hetapatti area.
An amount of around Rs 2500 to 3000 crore is estimated to be spent on the development of both the housing schemes. According to PDA officials, these schemes will give a new direction to the rapidly growing urban expansion of Prayagraj and planned residential facilities will be provided to the common people.
