West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has issued important notification regarding Higher Secondary Examination (Class 12th). The rules related to vocational subjects have been changed. Under the old system, the examination of all vocational subjects will be conducted for 2 hours from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.
West Bengal class 12th examination will be conducted from 12th February to 27th February 2026. official website But the time table has also been released. The event for vocational subjects such as health care, IT, tourism etc. is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 18th February. The remaining examinations will be conducted from 10:00 am to 1:15 pm. Time of 2 hours will also be given for Health and Physical Education, Music and Visual Arts paper.
Tutorial video feature launched
Online subject tutorial videos have also been uploaded on the Council’s YouTube channel. This will help students in preparing for the exam. Semester wise syllabus is divided into short tutorial videos. In these videos, renowned teachers will guide students about important topics along with question patterns, expected questions and model answers. More than 400 tutorials and practical videos of different semesters have already been uploaded from the Science and Development wing.

Students can avail this facility by visiting the YouTube channel link. For this they will have to subscribe to the YouTube channel. QR code is also given in the notice. Videos can also be accessed by visiting the Council’s website and clicking on the “Online Subject Tutorial” button. All schools have been advised to share this information among teachers and students. Besides, instructions have also been given to put this notification on the notice board of the school.
