Monty Panesar while talking about the semi-finalists of T20 World Cup 2026 said that

“According to me, South Africa, Australia, England and India are those teams which are going to make it to the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup. At the same time, I do not think that the Kiwi team is so strong that it will be able to reach the semi-finals. The Indian team is very strong. Something similar can be said about Australia and England.”

BCCI has announced a 15-member team for the T20 World Cup 2026. The command of this team is in the hands of Suryakumar Yadav, while the vice-captain of the team is in the hands of Axar Patel, while Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Verma, Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan and Rinku Singh have been given place as batsmen in the Indian team.

Apart from Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey, Akshar Patel, Washington Sundar and Harshit Rana have been included in the team as all-rounders. Along with this, Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakraborty have been included in Team India as spinners.

The selection committee led by Ajit Agarkar has included Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah in Team India for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
