Stoinis, who came to bat at number 5, played an unbeaten inning of 62 runs in 22 balls at a strike rate of 281.82, in which he hit 4 fours and 6 sixes.

During this, Stoinis scored 24 runs in the 20th over of the innings bowled by Brijesh Sharma and created a special record.

MS Dhoni’s record broken

In terms of playing innings of 50 or more runs in an IPL match for the most number of times between 16th and 20th over, he has reached joint third position, surpassing MS Dhoni (2) and Dinesh Karthik (2). He has achieved this feat for the third time in his career.
