20 year old scam, jobs of teachers committing fraud are in danger

A revelation has come from Indore which has shaken the entire education department. STF investigation has revealed that about 80 teachers in the city and surrounding areas were working on the basis of fake marksheet for the last several years. The surprising thing is that this entire game continued without any interruption for almost 20 years. The people who were responsible for the education and future of our children, themselves entered the schools with fake papers.

In the era of unemployment, where thousands of youth are not getting jobs despite real hard work, these fake teachers were teaching comfortably with huge salaries. After the investigation by STF, now the whole picture has become clear that it was not the mistake of just a few people, but a whole racket was going on which used to get jobs by making fake D.Ed marks list. After this revelation, both the education department and the local administration are under the scanner.

Big disclosure of STF

In many government schools of Indore and Saver, such teachers were working who had used fake D.Ed marksheet for their appointment. STF investigation revealed that they were appointed at the District Panchayat level for a long time and were later made permanent through merger. STF claims that some people were involved in this entire network who used to prepare fake marksheets and in return huge amount of money was taken. These teachers were taking comfortable salaries while the real qualified candidates were wandering from door to door.

How did the fraud work?

It has become clear in the investigation that first these teachers were hired as contract teachers through the village panchayats. As soon as three years of contract were completed, they were merged into the education department. This is where the biggest negligence took place, the investigation was almost minimal. Many officials did not take the document verification process seriously, and taking advantage of this negligence, fake teachers reached permanent jobs. The work of the gang that made the fake marks list was very well thought out. Such results were prepared which looked absolutely genuine and the verification officers did not raise any doubts.

Complainant’s claim

The complainant Gaurishankar Rajput, who brought this whole matter to light, said that he has the data of 130 fake teachers. Of these, 80 names are of teachers posted in Indore and Saver. He said that as soon as he raised this issue, efforts were made to suppress it at many levels. For the last six months, he has been continuously collecting evidence and now preparing the complete documents and handing it over to the STF. Rajput says that if necessary, he will take the matter to the High Court, so that the rights of the deserving youth are restored and fake teachers are out of the system.

In whose hands is the future of children?

This fake teacher scam has raised the biggest question, who was teaching in our schools? The future of children was in the hands of people who had neither real education nor real qualifications. The impact of this scam is not limited to just losing jobs. This whole matter shows how negligence and neglect continued in the education department for years. Many officials have come under the scanner because without verification, how can teachers with dozens of fake marksheets be made permanent?

Will the job really be lost?

STF has taken 80 teachers under investigation. Major action can be taken soon against the 20 teachers whose names have been confirmed. If it is proved that the marksheet was fake, then these teachers can lose their jobs at any time. It is also possible that sections of fraud and using fake documents may be imposed on them.
