The specialty of Tripoli is that it is an amphibious water monster in America. It is specially designed to carry out air strikes and deploy America’s elite Marine fighters. This warship can carry 2500 troops. Currently it has 2000 naval forces. Tripoli is 844 feet long and weighs 45,000 to 50,000 tons. It can deploy advanced stealth fighter jets such as the F-35B Litenic, the MV-22 Osprey, and a variety of attack helicopters. Its main function is to provide security at sea and keep troops ready for operations on land if necessary. There is no ‘well deck’ like a landing craft. This design allows for a larger hangar, more aircraft fuel and more space for aircraft maintenance.
