Xiaomi The 17 series has been launched in the global market. The Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra are the two models in the latest flagship lineup of the Chinese original equipment manufacturer (OEM). The Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra feature a Leica-tuned camera system. The handset also offers dual-band WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support.

When will Xiaomi 17 series launch in India?

The company has officially announced that the Xiaomi 17 series will be launched in India on March 11.

Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra Price

The 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage variant of the Xiaomi 17 has been priced at EUR 999 which is around Rs 1,07,449. This smartphone has been launched in 4 colors. These include Alpine Pink, Black, Ice Blue and Venture Green. While the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant of Xiaomi 17 Ultra has been priced at EUR 1,499 i.e. around Rs 1,61,264. This smartphone model has been launched in Black, Starlit Green and White color options. Customers can buy Xiaomi 17 Ultra Photography Kit and Photography Kit Pro, which are priced at EUR 99.99 which is around Rs 10,757 and EUR 199.99 which is around Rs 21,515 respectively. Features and specifications of Xiaomi 17 Ultra

The dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) Xiaomi 17 Ultra is based on Android 16-based HyperOS 3. The smartphone features a 6.9-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, peak brightness of up to 1,060 nits, and is equipped with Dragon Crystal Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by a 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, coupled with Adreno 840 GPU, 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 onboard storage.

For photography, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra has a Leica-tuned triple rear camera unit, which includes a 50-megapixel LOFIC Omnivision 1050L primary camera with a 1-inch sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. On the front of the smartphone is a 50-megapixel OV50M selfie camera.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, a USB Type-C port, NFC, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The handset is rated IP66 + IP68 + IP69 for protection against dust and water. It also has a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for security. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is powered by a 6,000mAh battery, which supports 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The device also supports 22.5W reverse wireless charging.

The Xiaomi 17 features a 6.3-inch 1.5K (2,656×1,220 pixels) OLED screen, with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 300Hz, and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. The screen has a 19.6:9 aspect ratio, DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR 10+, HDR Vivid and Dolby Vision support. The handset has the same chipset and connectivity options as the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The device has 12GB LPDDR5T RAM and 256GB onboard storage.

For photography, the Xiaomi 17 has a Leica-tuned triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.67 aperture and 23mm focal length, a 50-megapixel (f/2.0) telephoto lens and a 50-megapixel (f/2.4) ultra-wide-angle sensor with a 102-degree field of view. On the front of the smartphone is a 50-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and 90-degree field of view. The standard Xiaomi 17 packs a 6,330mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.
