2025 Honda CMX500 Rebel unveiled, will rival Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650

HondaIt has updated the Rebel 500 or CMX500 globally for 2025. The bike, which rivals the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, has been updated with cosmetic and chassis upgrades. Honda has made many changes in the bike in terms of looks, features and comfort.

Honda has not made any changes in its overall silhouette. However, the bike is now available in a new matte dim metallic gray color option for the standard and S variants of the bike. A Candy Energy Orange paint scheme has also been added for 2025 exclusively for the S trim.

The motorcycle has a signature look with chunky tires and short handlebar. Meanwhile, the fuel tank design has also been moved lower at the rear and blended with the scooped-out seat, which now features a new urethane foam material. The position of the handlebar has also been changed to increase comfort. The rear suspension has also been revised to provide more optimized shock absorption. It has an updated LCD screen which will provide more brightness. It rides on 16-inch cast aluminum wheels, suspended by telescopic forks and dual springs.

Powertrain options for the CMX500 Rebel remain the same as the standard model. It is powered by the same 471cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces around 46bhp and 43.3Nm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The braking system consists of a single disc at both ends with Nissin callipers and dual-channel ABS.
