Former Indian cricketer Ashish Nehra is the head coach of Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2026 season. GT won their maiden IPL title under his guidance in the 2022 season.
Notably, Nehra also became the first Indian head coach to win the Indian Premier League.
Before coaching GT, Ashish Nehra worked with Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) as their bowling coach for the 2018 season and retained the position for the 2019 IPL. In January 2022, Ashish Nehra was appointed as the head coach of the then-newly formed Indian Premier League franchise Gujarat Titans.
IPL 2026 GT Batting Coach
Matthew Hayden has been appointed as the new batting coach of the GT ahead of the IPL 2026 season.
Hayden represented Australia in 273 international matches, and scored over 15,000 international runs playing a pivotal roles in the ICC tournament victories.
He previously served as a batting consultant and mentor for the Pakistan national team during the 2021 and 2022 T20 World Cups.
