2026 Hyundai Verna In Showrooms; HX8 Variant In Detailed Walkaround Video

Hyundai launched the 2026 Verna in the market a few days ago, and the same has also started reaching dealerships. The 2026 Hyundai Verna has been launched at a starting price of Rs 10.98 lakh, ex-showroom. Information about the variants, prices, and their features is already available on the internet. Here we have a video where a vlogger gives a detailed walkaround of the Verna HX8 variant.

The video has been shared by Kumar Sangam on his YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger gives us a quick walkaround of the 2026 Verna and talks about the differences compared to the previous version. The car seen here is the HX8 variant. It is not the top-end trim but the one below it. It offers a decent number of features, and that is what we see here in the video.

The vlogger starts by talking about the exterior design of the 2026 Verna. He begins by showing the revised grille. He mentions that it now comes with revised elements with dark chrome garnishes. The bumper has also been revised, and so has the headlamp cluster.

The sedan also gets LED projector headlamps, and we see the connecting LED bar and the DRLs on the bonnet. The turn indicators are halogen and are integrated into the headlamp cluster.

The bonnet design, side profile, and everything else remain the same. The alloy wheel design is new, and the HX8 version gets 16-inch dual-tone wheels. The car also gets decent ground clearance, and we also see a rear spoiler, shark fin antenna, and electric sunroof as we move to the rear.

The car retains the sloping roof design and gets a rear defogger, LED tail lamps, a connecting LED bar, and a clear case with Verna branding underneath. The turn indicators are halogen, and we see a revised rear bumper with skirting and a diffuser-like element at the bottom.

The interior of the sedan is finished in a white or ivory shade. Rear passengers get AC vents, and we also see a rear armrest. The seats get leatherette upholstery, and there is also a phone holder and a Type-C USB port.

Coming to the front, the sedan comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an electrically adjustable driver seat with memory function, an electric sunroof, physical buttons on the centre console for the AC and other features, a digital instrument cluster with a TFT display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, cruise control, a multi-function steering wheel, and so on.

The HX8 is not the top-end variant, and that is the reason why it does not get features like ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and rear disc brakes. However, ADAS, rear disc brakes, dark alloy wheels, and black interiors are available in the turbo petrol version. The HX8 is available with both 1.5-litre NA petrol and 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine options. The one seen here is the 1.5-litre NA petrol, which is available with a manual transmission. This engine generates 115 hp and 144 Nm.

The price for the HX8 NA petrol variant is Rs 14.88 lakh, ex-showroom, for the manual version. Prices for the Hyundai Verna facelift now start at Rs 10.98 lakh, ex-showroom, and go all the way up to Rs 18.25 lakh, ex-showroom.
