IPL 2026 RCB vs CSK Playing 11: Rajat Patidar-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru will square off against Ruturaj Gaikwad-led Chennai Super Kings in the 11th match of the IPL 2026 on April 05 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
Chennai lost back-to-back games in the ongoing IPL 2026 season, while RCB comes from a win in their opener game against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
CSK will be hoping for a win to move forward in the IPL 2026 points table with a positive intent.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings has met on 35 occasions where RCB has only 13 wins while CSK has 21 victories.
CSK won the toss and opted to bowl. Speaking on the toss, CSK Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad said, “We will bowl first. It’s a high-scoring ground, and the pitch looks really good.
(On the pitch conditions) Usually there’s a bit of moisture here, but today it looks like a very good wicket, so there should be plenty of runs.”
Speaking on MS Dhoni, Ruturaj Gaikwad said, “He’s getting back on track slowly. We all hope he returns soon. He’s eager to play, but it takes time.”
The first game was disappointing, but in the second game, we improved in both batting and bowling. There were a few execution errors, but overall, it gave us confidence going into this game.

Meanwhile, RCB captain Rajat Patidar said, “Yeah, we were looking to bowl as well. But, to be honest, looks hard and we will try to put up a good total on the board and put them under pressure.
I think it is a fresh wicket. Surface is good for the batting side. Boys played in the last game. So we’ll look to continue that today.
(On positives from the last game)Definitely, the way everyone played in the last game was tremendous. Everyone had clarity in role. So, everyone is looking forward to it. No, we are going with the same side,” concluded Rajat Patidar.
