2026 Renault Duster: New TVC Released
This new TVC of the new-generation Renault Duster has been shared on YouTube by Renault India on their channel. It starts off with a moving shot of this SUV, and the video mentions the main highlight of the new Duster, which is its Turbo TCe 160 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine. This motor is capable of producing 163 PS and 280 Nm of torque. It is currently the most powerful engine in the mid-size SUV segment.
Soon after this, the video then mentions that the Duster also gets a 6-speed wet-clutch DCT, which is not offered in any other mid-size SUV. Apart from these, the new Duster also gets multiple driving modes as well, 18-inch black alloy wheels, 212 mm ground clearance, and a seven-year warranty. The video also shows the interior design of this SUV.
As mentioned, the 2026 Renault Duster has been launched with a price tag of Rs 10.49 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 18.49 lakh. This time around, the nomenclature for the variant lineup has been changed by Renault. It now comes offered in five variants, namely Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno+, and Iconic.

In terms of design, the new Renault Duster gets futuristic-looking Y-shaped LED DRLs, chunky bumpers and skid plates, and squared wheel arches with cladding. This time around, the Duster looks significantly bigger and more rugged than many of its rivals as well. As for the rear, the SUV gets a set of Y-shaped LED DRLs, which are now connected.

Renault has left no stone unturned when it comes to the interior of this SUV. The new Duster gets a futuristic, rugged, yet very functional cabin. Its list of features includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, a wireless charging pad, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a flat-bottom and flat-top steering wheel, ADAS Level 2, and a ton of other features.
In terms of the powertrain options, as mentioned, the Duster has now become the most powerful SUV in the mid-size SUV segment with its 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine. However, the lower variants get a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo petrol engine capable of making 99 bhp and 160 Nm of torque. This particular engine only gets a 6-speed manual gearbox option.

Lastly, during the Diwali festive season this year, the company will also start delivering the strong hybrid version of this SUV. This powertrain will consist of a 1.8-litre petrol engine, which will come equipped with two electric motors. There will be a 20 bhp motor which will act as a generator, and there will also be a 49 bhp electric motor that will power the wheels. This strong hybrid system will also comprise a 1.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which will offer 160 bhp and 172 Nm of torque.
