Upgraded Chemistry: While it retains an LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) composition, the new battery switches from cylindrical to higher-density prismatic cells. Certified Claimed Range: On paper, the ARAI or MIDC certified range for the 40kWh battery is considerably higher, officially rated between 464 km and 468 km.

According to a Tata promo video, an experienced automotive journalist recently hypermiled the Tata Punch.EV facelift on a highway trip from Jaipur to Himmatnagar and managed to extract nearly 600 kilometers of range on a single charge. This figure far exceeds standard real-world expectations and even rivals the laboratory-tested ARAI certification numbers.
