According to the latest ICC rankings, after winning the series, Bangladesh has moved from 10th to 9th and has left West Indies behind.

West Indies team has slipped to 10th position without playing any match. In the third ODI played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh won the match by 11 runs after defending 290 runs. With this win, Bangladesh can now hope to avoid playing the qualifiers, but will need to continue performing well in this format to retain their ranking.

For those who do not know, let us tell them that next year’s World Cup will be played in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia. Of these, South Africa and Zimbabwe have already qualified as hosts and the remaining top 8 teams will also qualify directly. As per the schedule, Bangladesh will now play their next ODI series away from home against South Africa in December. Meanwhile, Pakistan has managed to retain its fourth position despite losing the series to Bangladesh. He has 102 rating points, three less than he had before the start of the series.
