22 year old Saim Ayub created an amazing record by scoring his second century on SA soil, becoming the second batsman of PAK to do so.

South Africa vs Pakistan 3rd ODI: Pakistan's young opening batsman Saim Ayub created history by scoring a century in the third and last ODI played against South Africa in Johannesburg on Sunday (22 December). 22-year-old Ayub scored his second century in the series, scoring 101 runs in 94 balls, hitting 13 fours and 2 sixes. With this he made a special record in his name.

This is Ayub's third century in ODI and this has come in his ninth innings. He is the second batsman in Pakistan ODI history to score his first three ODI centuries in less than 10 innings. Before him, Imam ul Haq had scored three ODI centuries in 8 innings.

After Ayub, Fakhar Zaman (17 innings), Babar Azam (18 innings) are in this list.

Will jointly reach the second position in terms of scoring two or more centuries in a bilateral ODI series against South Africa on their soil. Before him, Joe Root, David Warner and Fakhar Zaman had scored 2 centuries each in the ODI series against South Africa. With 3 centuries each, he is at number one along with Virat Kohli and Kevin Pietersen.

Saim was named Player of the Match and Player of the Series for his excellent performance.
