A shocking incident happened when a 25-year-old man allegedly raped his grandmother in a village. This horrific incident happened on Thursday in Khutar area of Shahjahanpur district.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Manoj Kumar Awasthi, the 75-year-old victim was sleeping in her house at the time of the incident. The accused, identified as Akhilesh Kumar, the grandson of the victim, forced her to his room under the influence of alcohol and raped her.
He also threatened her that if she told anyone about the incident he would kill her and immediately ran away. After the incident, the victim informed her daughter about the matter and registered a case in this regard at the nearest police station.
Later the victim was sent to the hospital for medical examination. The police have registered a case against the accused under the section of rape.
