Marcus Stoinis created history by scoring 61 runs in 27 balls, becoming the first Australian cricketer to do so.
Australia vs Pakistan 3rd T20I: Australia's star all-rounder Marcus Stoinis created a stir with his stormy innings in the third and last T20 International played against Pakistan in Hobart on Monday (18 November). Stoinis, who came to bat at number 4, played a stormy innings of unbeaten 61 runs in 27 balls, hitting five fours and five sixes.
Stoinis made a unique record in his name with this half-century innings. He has become the first Australian and fourth cricketer in the world to score 300 or more runs and take 20 or more wickets in T20 International in a year. In the year 2024, he has scored 330 runs and also taken 21 wickets. Before him, only Shakib Al Hasan, Hardik Pandya and Sikandar Raza have done this feat.

It is noteworthy that in this match, Australia defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets and won the series 3-0. After winning the toss and batting first, Pakistan was all out for 117 runs in 18.1 overs. In which Babar Azam scored 41 runs and Hasibullah Khan scored 24 runs.
In response, Australia won by losing 3 wickets in 11.2 overs. Apart from Stoinis, captain Josh Inglis scored 27 runs. Stoinis was adjudged Player of the Match for his excellent performance.
