LSG was the team that spent money on Pant like water, spending Rs 27 crore to sign him. According to Sanjeev Goenka, Rishabh Pant was a part of LSG’s plan. We had planned to buy them and had fixed an amount of up to Rs 26 crore for this. But, a little more than Rs 27 crore was spent. Acknowledging this inner remorse, the LSG owner also admitted that the addition of Rishabh Pant is a matter of happiness for the fans of his team. Pant is a great player. He is a team man and a match winner, which we can see benefiting from.

Pant reached from Rs 2 crore to Rs 27 crore

In the mega auction of IPL 2025, Rishabh Pant had kept his base price at Rs 2 crore. They were expected to be sold at a high price in the auction. It was also expected that he would break all the records and the same happened. Teams like Punjab Kings, KKR, Delhi Capitals also tried to rope in Pant but in the end LSG won.
