The exterior of the Tata Punch facelift is likely to be largely inspired by the Punch EV. It may get a new front grille, updated bumper, sharp LED DRLs, new alloy wheels and refreshed taillamps. Overall, the car will have a more modern and premium look than before.

Powerful features and updated interior

Tata Punch Facelift is likely to see major changes in the cabin. It can offer modern features like new multi-function steering wheel, updated dashboard layout, 10.25-inch large touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control and connected car technology.

Tata has always been segment-best when it comes to passenger safety. The new Punch Facelift is expected to get 6 airbags (standard) along with safety features like ABS with EBD, ESC, hill hold assist, 360-degree camera, ISOFIX child seat mount and rear parking sensor.

Engine and Mileage

The Tata Punch Facelift will not see much changes. It will be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine as the current one, which produces around 88 PS of power and 115 Nm of torque. Along with this, the option of CNG variant will also be available.

In terms of mileage, the petrol variant is expected to get around 20 kmpl, while the CNG variant is expected to get around 27 km/kg.

How much will it cost?

The current price of the Tata Punch starts at Rs 5.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Tata Punch facelift is expected to be priced between Rs 6.25 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). With a revised design, new features and a stronger safety package, it will take on the Hyundai Exeter in the micro-SUV segment.
