These two players were once the pride of India, but because of their seniors, today they are playing cricket abroad.
Team India: These days, Indian cricket is ruling the world cricket due to its players and BCCI's profits. But there are many players of Team India who are representing themselves in foreign teams due to not getting a chance in the Indian team.
In this series, today we are going to tell you about two such players of Team India who, after not getting a place in the Indian team, are now playing cricket with foreign teams.
1. Unmukt Chand
We are talking about Unmukt Chand, who won the Under-19 World Cup title for India in the year 2012. Let us tell you that after not getting a place in the Indian senior team, Unmukt Chand retired from Indian cricket and went to America. Now Unmukt Chand has shifted to America and plays for American cricket.
Since the year 2021, Unmukt Chand has been playing in minor league cricket for Silicon Valley Strikers. Additionally, he was a part of the Los Angeles Knight Riders (LAKR) from the inaugural season of Major League Cricket in 2023. Due to which his presence in American cricket has become even stronger.
2. Prithvi Shaw
Prithvi Shaw is one of the talented players of the Indian cricket team. In the year 2016, Prithvi Shaw was brilliant in the debut test played against West Indies. He scored the third fastest debut century in 99 balls. After which he started being compared to Veeru. But, someone's attention to his cricket was such that after a few days he was removed from Team India. He was last seen playing in ODI against Sri Lanka in the year 2021.
For the last three years, Shaw has been stumbling from pillar to post to make a comeback. But, success was not achieved. In such a situation, if media reports are to be believed, Shaw is leaving India and playing county cricket in England.
