3 New Affordable Hyundai Cars Launching in India – Know its Details
Upcoming Hyundai Cars – Every year in the automobile world, there are some names from which expectations are attached to you. Hyundai is one of the same trusted brands in India. This year the company did not see much movement other than Venue and Creta Electric also did not get the response as expected.
But the next year could prove to be a game-changer for Hyundai. The reason is clear — the company is preparing to launch three new mass-market cars priced between 5 lakh and 12 lakh rupees (ex-showroom), which will target both budget and premium-thinking customers.

Hyundai’s 2026 plan
Hyundai is set to strengthen its lineup in India next year. While the Ioniq 5 facelift will be available, the focus will be on cars that are affordable for the average buyer. Hyundai’s strategy is clear—to strike a balance between design, technology, and price that will leave customers with no second thoughts. This strategy will see the launch of three new or updated models, covering different segments.
Facelifted Hyundai Verna
Hyundai’s first major launch next year could be facelifted Verna. The company has already started testing of this updated sedan in India and South Korea and is expected to be introduced by April. The design of the new Verna will be more sharp and sporty than before.
Spy shots suggest that its front end global D-segment will be inspired by Sonata. The new and more aggressive bumpers, revisited split headlamp set-up and new radiator grille will give Verna more presence on the road. The new 16-inch alloy wheels in the side profile and the rear replaced taillights and rear bumpers will give it a fresh look.
Talking about the cabin, technology is going to suffer inside. New digital instrument cluster and large touchscreen infotainment system will be found, which will run on ccNC software. This is the same software that was previously seen in Grandeur. Engine and gearbox options are expected to remain the same as existing models, i.e. new experience with reliable performance.
Hyundai Exter Facelift
Two to three months after the Verna, Hyundai is expected to launch a mid-cycle facelift of its micro SUV, the Exter. The current Exter has already established itself well in cities, but Hyundai wants to refresh it due to stiff competition from the Tata Punch.
While not much information has been revealed about the exterior, it’s believed the facelifted Exter will feature redesigned bumpers, updated front and rear lights, and new 15-inch alloy wheels. The interior may also receive some new comfort and convenience features, making it even more value-for-money.
Not much change is expected on the mechanical front. It’s expected to feature the same 1.2-liter petrol and petrol-CNG engine options, paired with a 5-speed manual and AMT gearboxes. This means a reliable setup with a slightly new look.

New Hyundai Bayon
Hyundai is expected to launch the second-generation Bayon in India around the festive season, possibly in September. Interestingly, the company didn’t launch the first-generation Bayon in India, but the new model is now slated to be introduced as a coupe-style SUV. It will be positioned slightly more premium and stylish than the new Venue.
The new Bayon’s biggest highlight will be its all-new 1.2-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine. This engine will be manufactured in India and could also be used in Hyundai’s hybrid models in the future. In terms of design, the Bayon will appeal to customers who want an SUV look with a sporty coupe-like feel.
