328 CM Mann’s strong stance on the missing bodies of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, said – SIT will investigate the matter impartially
Punjab :Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has once again adopted a tough stance regarding Shiromani Committee and Akali Dal. He alleged that these people are using Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Sikhism as a shield for their wrongdoings. He said that the Shiromani Committee is making every possible effort to save the rich people close to their masters, while no concrete action has been taken so far in the case of 328 missing Guru Granth Sahib forms. This situation remains a matter of concern for the entire Sikh community.
State government’s action in case of missing forms
Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the state government, fulfilling its moral responsibility, has registered an FIR in this case and formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT). He clarified that the state government is fully committed to punishing the culprits as per the law. Despite this, the Shiromani Committee and its masters started making allegations through the media that the state government was interfering in religious matters. The Chief Minister said that this is completely wrong, because the committee itself had passed proposals for criminal action against the culprits.
Shiromani Committee’s irregularities and loss to the public
The Chief Minister also mentioned the corruption and irregularities of Shiromani Committee. He said that 10-12 scams take place every day in the committee and the money offered by the devotees is being misused. The committee had also passed proposals for action against the former Chief Secretary and rich people, but it is pending till date. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Shiromani Committee and Akali Dal are working only to gain power and do not fulfill any responsibility towards the public or religious institution.
State government’s resolution and future plans
The Chief Minister stressed that the state government will ensure that the recovery of missing forms and legal action against the culprits will be done with complete transparency and fairness. He said that the present leadership of Akali Dal adopts anti-state stance only out of lust for power and does not care about the welfare of the people and religion. The Chief Minister warned the Shiromani Committee that their disgusting faces would be exposed in an impartial investigation by the SIT and the state government would take all possible steps to protect religious rights.
Thus, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann made it clear that the state government is completely serious and active in preventing corruption and power struggle within religious institutions, and priority will be given to impartial action in case of missing forms for public trust.
