37% annual growth in energy sales

Ahmedabad, 23 January 2026: India’s largest and fastest growing renewable energy company Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL) has announced financial results for the period ended December 31, 2025, showing strong growth and operational excellence. Adani Green Energy Ltd., which has emerged as the world’s number one green utility company in the recent annual rankings conducted by Energy Intelligence, has strengthened its leadership in the energy transition by increasing its operational capacity by 48% year-on-year to 17.2 GW. Greenfield addition of 5.6 GW in the calendar year January to December 2025 is about 14% of the total solar and wind power addition in the country. In addition, it has become the company with the best sustainability performance in India in the power generation sector for the second consecutive year in the NSE sustainability rating.

During the reporting period, energy sales grew 37% YoY to 27,636 million units and revenue grew 25% to Rs. 8,508 crores has been done. EBITDA increased by 24% YoY to Rs. 7,921 crores has happened. Achieved industry-leading EBITDA margin of 91.5%. According to the comparative history of third quarter and nine monthly financial performance of FY-25 and FY-26, the income from power supply in the third quarter of FY-25 was Rs. 1993 crore in the same period of FY-26 with a difference of 21% to Rs. 2420 crore. Whereas in comparison to the income of Rs. 6366 crore during the nine months of the financial year-25, the income in the nine months of the current financial year has increased to Rs. 7921 crore with an increase of 24%. EBITDA from power supply stood at Rs. 2269 crore in the same period of 2026 as against Rs. 1848 crore in the third quarter of 2025, a difference of 23%. EBITDA in the nine months of FY-25 was Rs. 6366 crores as against Rs. 7921 crores with a difference of 24% in the same period of FY-26. Cash profit has increased by 18% to Rs. 812 crore in the third quarter of FY-25 compared to Rs. 996 crore in the same period of the current financial year. Whereas in comparison to Rs. 3639 crore in the nine months of FY-25, it has become Rs. 3906 crore with a difference of 7% in the same period of the current year.

Which is about 14% of all new solar and wind capacity installed nationwide. With this, the working capacity of the company has reached 17.2 GW, as a result the company’s position as the country’s leading green energy provider has become stronger. Khanna had said that our world’s largest landmark renewable energy Khavda project is progressing rapidly and we are on track to build one of the world’s largest single-location battery energy storage projects in the coming months. Apart from this, the work of our Hydro Pumped Storage Project on Chitravati River in Andhra Pradesh is in planned progress.

Shri Khanna further added that in the first nine months of the current financial year, we have generated more than 27 billion units of clean electricity, which is enough to provide electricity to a country like Azerbaijan for the whole year. During the nine months of FY 26: Adani Green Energy Ltd. It has continuously expanded its greenfield capabilities with strong support from advanced resource planning, engineering and supply chain management, including project management, execution and project management with the company’s partner Adani Infra India Ltd. (AIIL) has given assurance. The capacity addition of 17.2 GW with an YoY growth of 48% puts the company on track to achieve the target of 50 GW.

Adani Green Energy has added 2,995 MW of greenfield capacity in 9 months of FY26, which is 90% more than the capacity addition in the entire FY25. Greenfield addition in the last one year was 5,630 MW which includes 4,187 MW solar capacity which includes 3,137 MW in Khawda in Gujarat, 800 MW in Rajasthan and 250 MW in Andhra Pradesh while 462 MW wind capacity in Khawda and 981 MW solar-wind hybrid capacity in Khawda.

Energy sales have grown by 37% year-on-year due to significant capacity addition and strong operational performance. Due to the company continuously generating more electricity than the total annual commitment under the power purchase agreement, the agreement based electricity generation in the nine months of the current financial year was 79% of the annual commitment.

In line with the company’s approach of using the most advanced renewable technologies, it utilizes the most advanced bifacial solar modules for maximum power generation and India’s largest 5.2 MW wind turbine, one of the most powerful onshore wind turbines globally. Waterless robotic cleaning is used throughout the plant only for module cleaning which not only results in almost zero water consumption but also increases power generation.
