Salim Durrani (Afghanistan)
Former Indian all-rounder Salim Durrani was born on 11 December 1934 in Kabul city of Afghanistan. He played 29 test matches for India between 1960 and 1973. During this time he scored 1202 runs. During this time he took 75 wickets. It is said that he used to hit sixes on the demand of the audience. He used to hit sixes in the corner of the stadium from where the call for 'sixer' came. He has also received the Arjuna Award.
