Approval has been given for the construction of a new 4-lane road in Bhagalpur district of the state. After the completion of this project, people of Bhagalpur, Navgachia and surrounding areas will get better transportation facilities. Besides, connectivity between Bihar and Jharkhand will also become stronger than before.
Road will be built from Zeromile to Chaudharydih
The proposed four lane road will be built from Navgachia Zero Mile to Chaudharydih. Some important changes have also been made in this project. Earlier there was a plan to build a flyover near Zero Mile, but now a service road will be built there. This road will be approximately 14 meters wide. A flyover will be constructed in Gopalpur area, which will make traffic more convenient.
Land acquisition process started
According to Bhagalpur DM Naval Kishore Chaudhary, the process of acquiring land for the construction of a four-lane road has been started. The DPR report has been sent to the headquarters by the administration. After getting the approval, tender will be issued and then the construction work will start rapidly.

After the construction of the new 4-lane road, travel between Bhagalpur and Navgachia will become easier and faster. Apart from this, people going to Jharkhand will also get a lot of facilities. There will be less traffic pressure in the city, which is expected to provide relief from the problem of traffic jam.
