41 trains will run from Delhi on Saturday for those going to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar on Chhath festival. – ..

New Delhi, 01 November (Hindustan Reporter). Northern Railway will operate 71 special trains on November 2 for passengers going towards Uttar Pradesh and Bihar on Chhath. Of these, 41 special trains will run from major stations of Delhi.

Northern Railway on Friday said that 7,296 special trains are being run by Indian Railways on the occasion of festivals, compared to 4,500 special trains last year. Indian Railways has decided to run festival special trains for the convenience of passengers during Chhath festival.

Out of 41 special trains running from major stations of Delhi, maximum 14 trains will run from New Delhi. After this, 12 trains are included from Anand Vihar, 8 from Delhi Junction, 6 from Hazrat Nizamuddin and 1 from Delhi Cantonment.

Among the 14 trains running from New Delhi, the main ones are – Train number 04070 will leave from New Delhi at 00.20 and will reach Rajgir at 21.00. Train number 04054 will depart from New Delhi at 14.20 hrs and reach Barauni Junction at 11.00 hrs. Train No. 02248 will depart from New Delhi at 0825 hrs and reach Patna Junction at 20.30 hrs. Train number 04036 will depart from New Delhi at 12 o’clock and reach Bhagalpur Junction at 10 o’clock. Train No. 02564 will depart from New Delhi at 17.55 hrs and reach Barauni Junction at 15.10 hrs. Train number 02570 will depart from New Delhi at 12.15 and reach Darbhanga Junction at 10.00.

Major among the 12 trains running from Anand Vihar are – Train number 04032 will leave from Anand Vihar Terminal at 5.15 and will reach Saharsa Junction at 10.30. Train number 04044 will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 23.15 and reach Gorakhpur Junction at 14.15. Train number 03576 will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 10.15 am and reach Asansol Junction at 10.20 am. Train number 05220 will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 8 am and reach Muzaffarpur Junction at 00.45 am.

Train number 04080 will depart from Delhi Junction at 19.30 hrs and reach Varanasi Junction at 9.45 hrs. Train number 02418 will depart from Delhi Junction at 09.30 hrs and reach Prayagraj Junction at 19.45 hrs. Train number 04034 will depart from Delhi Junction at 23.45 hrs and reach Jaynagar at 23.45 hrs.
