Ryal Enfield Guerrilla 450 : Royal Enfield has launched a new bike to strengthen its grip on the 452cc segment. The new version of the popular Guerrilla 450 bike has been officially launched in the Indian market. The company has made significant changes in this model which was launched 2 years ago. A new Kora variant named Apex has been introduced in the new estimate for the customers. No mechanical changes have been made in this motorcycle. This bike is designed for youngsters who have a craze for a fast and high-performance roadstar bike to ride in the city so this bike is for you.
The most noticeable change in this new update is the riding posture and handling of the bike. In the Apex variant, the company has repositioned the handlebars by moving it 56 mm down and 57 mm forward. This allows the rider to lean more forward than before while riding the bike, giving a sporty feel. Along with this, the bike gets new tires for better road grip, which gives more confidence on highways and twisty roads. This motorcycle directly competes with ‘Triumph Speed 400’. Engine and Performance
When it comes to engine and performance, the company has not made any technical or mechanical changes. It is powered by the same 452cc liquid cooled engine that produces 40 PS of power and 40 Nm of torque. The 6-speed gearbox and slip-and-assist clutch make gear changes extremely easy and smooth. For suspension, 43 mm telescopic front and rear monoshock suspension are provided, while both wheels get disc brakes along with dual channel ABS for safety.
Feature of ‘Dual-Channel ABS’
The motorcycle is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear sides, and also features ‘dual-channel ABS’. It also has a 4-inch TFT display, which enables navigation via Google Maps.

Additionally, the bike offers smartphone connectivity, a USB Type-C charging port and two different ‘riding modes’. The ‘curb weight’ (total weight including fuel and liquids) of this motorcycle is 185 kg. It has an 11-litre capacity fuel tank, which feels a bit small in size. If the company had provided a larger capacity fuel tank in this bike, it would have been more convenient. The price of Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 starts at ₹2,49,194 (ex-showroom), while the top variant is priced at ₹2,72,479 (ex-showroom). You can buy this bike in various color options; The Apex variant is available in Red, Black and Green colors.
