RCB trolls BCCI for sharing low quality video of Virat Kohli’s century

Virat Kohli once again proved that his class and consistency is still intact in 50 over cricket. After being named Player of the Series in the recent series against South Africa, Kohli continued the same trend in domestic cricket as well. On Wednesday, in the Vijay Hazare Trophy match, playing for Delhi, he scored a brilliant century against Andhra Pradesh and led his team to an easy victory.

This match was played at the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru, where spectators were not allowed to enter the stadium due to security reasons. In such a situation, fans had to depend on official videos and social media clips to watch Virat Kohli’s batting. BCCI shared glimpses of his performance but the highlight video of his innings was of very low quality, seeing which many fans raised questions on social media.

While Royal Challengers Bangalore also posted a video and joked about its quality in a light-hearted manner. RCB posted this video from its official social media account and wrote in the caption, “420P video but 4K quality innings. Another day and another century.”

Let us tell you that while chasing the target of 299 runs, Kohli batted in this format for his state team after almost 15 years. He got off to a fast start along with opener Priyansh Arya and took full advantage of the fielding restrictions in the initial overs. After Arya’s dismissal, Kohli brought balance to his game and focused on playing long innings. The 37-year-old batsman looked extremely comfortable at the crease and his timing and classic drives were worth watching.

Kohli completed his half-century in just 39 balls and continued scoring runs. His 113-run partnership with Priyansh Arya put Delhi in a strong position. After this, he also made a century partnership with Nitish Rana, due to which the run chase came completely under the control of Delhi. Ultimately Virat Kohli was out after scoring 131 runs in 101 balls. His innings included 14 fours and three sixes. This was the 58th century of his List A career and fourth century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Thanks to his brilliant innings, Delhi achieved the target with more than 12 overs remaining.
