Kia Carens Clavis EV : Amidst the increasing competition in the electric car segment, Kia has launched its new Kia Carens Clavis EV (MY26). This time the company has not just made minor changes, but has completely upgraded it as a premium family EV. Now this car has become more stylish and practical than before with a 6-seater option, new GT-Line and X-Line trims and longer range. The special thing is that this is Kia’s made-in-India electric car, which has been designed keeping in mind the needs of Indian customers.

The new update adds GT-Line (GTX, GTX+) and X-Line trims along with the Extended Range variant. The GT-Line gets elements like sporty design, new alloy wheels and lime brake callipers, while the X-Line has been introduced with a dark and rugged look, which includes exclusive colors like Aurora Black Pearl and Dark Gun Metal. This car is also quite ahead in terms of technology. It has advanced features like 26.62-inch dual panoramic display, more than 85 connected features, digital key and battery heater. The biggest update is its 6-seater layout, which gets captain seats in the second row. This feature makes it more comfortable for family use and long trips. Also 7-seater option is also available.
Talking about performance, it has 99kW and 126kW motor options, which generate 255Nm torque. The car has the option of 42 kWh battery (404 km range) and 51.4 kWh battery (490 km range). This EV can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 39 minutes. This car is also strong in terms of safety. A total of 18 advanced features like 6 airbags, ESC, Hill Start Assist have been provided in it. Also, the panoramic sunroof and premium interior give it a luxury feel. Overall, the new Kia Carens Clavis EV has been upgraded in such a way that it is not just an electric car but a complete family package.
