Tamil Nadu's opening batsman N Jagadeesan created a stir by hitting six fours in an over during his half-century in the pre-quarterfinal match of Vijay Hazare Trophy against Rajasthan at Koutambi Stadium in Vadodara on Thursday (January 9).
Fast bowler Aman Singh Shekhawat came to bowl the second over of the innings for Rajasthan. A total of 29 runs came in his ice over. The first ball was wide and crossed the boundary for four runs. After Aman's poor start, Jagadeesan hit six consecutive fours on his next six valid balls.
For Tamil Nadu, who were chasing the target, Jagadeesan completed his half-century in 33 balls, in which he hit 9 fours. He returned to the pavilion after playing an inning of 65 runs in 52 balls with the help of 10 fours.

In this match, after being invited to bat first, Rajasthan team scored 267 runs. In which for Rajasthan, Abhijit Tomar scored 111 runs in 125 balls and captain Mahipal Lomror scored 60 runs in 49 balls. Together they made a partnership of 160 runs for the second wicket.
But after this, spinner Varun Chakraborty made a comeback for Tamil Nadu by showing his amazing spin. Chakraborty bowled 9 overs, in which he took 5 wickets for 52 runs.
