An important meeting of the INDIA alliance of opposition parties was held on Monday at the Constitution Club in Delhi, in which leaders of 25 political parties from across the country participated. Kharge said that the INDIA alliance will continue to fight unitedly on the issues of democracy, constitution and public interest and now regular meetings of the alliance will be organized every two months.
Serious concerns were expressed in the meeting on issues related to the electoral process and voter list. The alliance decided to write to the Chief Justice of India regarding matters related to Special Intensive Revision (SIR), alleged manipulation of electoral rolls and electoral transparency.
Kharge said it was necessary to draw the attention of the judiciary to the matters affecting the franchise of crores of voters.
Controversies related to NEET and CBSE examinations were also discussed in the meeting. Opposition parties alleged that the future of lakhs of students has been affected due to serious irregularities in the examination system.
In this context, INDIA alliance has asked the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Demanded the resignation of. The leaders said that accountability should be fixed for the problems faced in the education system.
Concern was also expressed in the meeting over rising inflation, unemployment, farmers’ problems and economic challenges. The alliance demanded the central government to immediately convene an all-party meeting to discuss these important national issues.
The leaders said that there is a need for serious discussion regarding the economic condition of the country and employment opportunities.

Kharge said that regular dialogue is necessary for better coordination and strategic cooperation between the opposition parties.
In view of the monsoon session, the alliance decided to adopt a joint strategy within the Parliament also. It was decided that during the Parliament session, daily coordination meetings would be organized between the opposition parties so that the government could be united on important issues.
Representatives of a total of 25 political parties including Congress, Samajwadi Party, Trinamool Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction), Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction), National Conference, PDP, Left parties participated in the meeting.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that some leaders also attended the meeting through virtual medium and agreed on all the major decisions.
During the meeting, opposition leaders criticized the central government on many issues including electoral process, inflation, unemployment, education system, farmers’ problems and foreign policy.
Kharge said that the opposition will work unitedly to protect democratic values and strongly raise issues of public interest and in the coming times, a comprehensive campaign will be launched among the public on these issues.
