1.Big change in nominee rules

The rules regarding nominee in bank accounts have been made more flexible and transparent. Now account holders can have not one but four nominees. Not only this, they can also decide how much share each nominee will get. This change makes financial security and future planning easier for families.

2. Rules related to Aadhaar simplified

The central government has improved many rules related to Aadhar card. Now biometric update has been made completely free for one year old children. Apart from this, many Aadhaar services have been made available online, relieving people from visiting offices. This step is being considered as another strong initiative towards Digital India.

3. Tax relief for middle class

The changes made in the tax slab in 2025 have given great relief to the employed and middle class. Now tax will not have to be paid on income up to Rs 12 lakh. This decision will increase the annual savings of lakhs of families, which they can use for investment, education or household needs.

4. GST reform will control inflation

In the year 2025, the government also made major reforms in the GST system. Under the GST reform done in the month of September, the tax rates of a total of 453 items were changed, out of which the tax on 413 items was reduced. The special thing was that GST on about 295 essential goods was reduced from 12 percent to 5 percent or completely zero. Due to this, everyday things became cheaper and common people got direct benefits.

5. Zero balance accounts get additional strength

The initiative of the Reserve Bank in 2025 has brought great relief to zero balance account holders. Now digital transactions like UPI, IMPS, NEFT and RTGS from these accounts have been made completely free. Along with this, the annual fee for ATM card has also been abolished. This has especially benefited the low income group and middle class, because small charges are now converting into savings.
