Harbhajan Singh made a prediction, said

Indian team Former cricketer Harbhajan Singh has predicted the names of five players whom Chennai Super Kings can retain before the upcoming IPL season (IPL 2025). According to Harbhajan Singh, CSK will retain three Indian and two foreign players.

He expressed his opinion on this while talking to Star Reports. Harbhajan said, 'If Mahendra Singh Dhoni is available, CSK will definitely retain him. He will be CSK's first retention even if he is retained as an uncapped player. The second retention of Super Kings will be Ravindra Jadeja and the third retention will be Rachin Ravindra.

He further said, 'Chennai Super Kings will definitely retain their captain Ruturaj Gaikwad. So these four players will definitely be retained. Apart from these, I think Mathisha Pathirana is a very strong bowler and he should definitely be retained. And if CSK retains any uncapped player then it can be a surprise, but it can also happen that CSK retains only four players.

It is noteworthy that Chennai Super Kings has won the champion title five times under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, hence he would like Dhoni to play IPL for one more season. On the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja has always performed amazingly for CSK, so they would not want to leave Jadeja too.

CSK sees a new captain in Ruturaj Gaikwad, which clearly shows that Gaikwad is going to be a part of CSK. Mathisha Pathirana and Rachin Ravindra have also impressed with their performances. In such a situation, it will be very interesting to see how correct Harbhajan Singh's prediction proves to be.
