5 New Cars Launching In The Next 2 Weeks: From Nissan Gravite To Volkswagen Tayron R-Line
Every year, in the beginning, we witness a number of new car launches, and 2026 is no different. In the coming two weeks, a total of five new MPVs and SUVs will be making their official debut in India. Now, if you are someone who wants to buy a brand-new vehicle this year, here are all the details of the five upcoming cars in India.
Nissan Gravite
The first vehicle on this list is the Nissan Gravite, an affordable 7-seater MPV, which will be launched today on 17th February. This Renault Triber-based MPV uses the same CMF A+ platform and measures under 4 metres in length. On the outside, the Gravite gets a gloss-black hexagonal grille, sleek wraparound LED headlights with DRLs, a sculpted bonnet, and C-shaped bumper inserts.
It will also get new alloy wheels and a new, sharper-looking rear end. On the inside, the Gravite will come equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, removable third-row seats, and many others. Powering this MPV will be a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine, and transmission options will include a 5-speed AMT and a 5-speed manual. Pricing will be in the range of Rs 6–9 lakh.
Tata Punch.ev Facelift

Tata Motors will also be launching its newly facelifted Punch.ev on February 20th. Like most mid-cycle facelifts, the Punch.ev will also be getting an updated front fascia. Changes will include a new black trim strip on the front, more recessed triangular elements near the headlamps, and a slimmer air dam for a modern look. It will get new connected LED taillights, an updated dual-tone bumper with a grey insert, and a revised skid plate.
As for the updates inside, it will come equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and connected car tech. The current Punch.ev gets 25 kWh and 35 kWh battery pack options. However, the new model is expected to get a bigger battery pack with a more powerful motor. Pricing is expected to be in the range of Rs 10 to Rs 16 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki and Vitara

After being showcased numerous times over the last few years, Maruti Suzuki will finally be launching its first electric vehicle, the e Vitara, in India. This SUV, according to leaked pricing info, will start at Rs 24.79 lakh. Maruti Suzuki has built the e Vitara on the HEARTECT-e platform. Battery pack options for this SUV will include 49 kWh and 61 kWh packs, offering a range of 344 km and 543 km, respectively.
As for the variants, Maruti Suzuki will be offering it in Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. The larger 61 kWh battery pack will only be offered with the Zeta and Alpha variants. In terms of features, it will get a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a Harman Kardon audio system, and many others. Pricing will be around Rs 17–22 lakh.
Toyota Ebella

Toyota also recently unveiled the Vitara-based Ebella in India, and it will be the electric vehicle from Toyota in India. It will be rivalling the Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, VinFast VF6, and the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara. All of the features, powertrain, and battery pack options will remain the same. The variants of the Ebella will be E1 (49 kWh), E20 (61 kWh), and E3 (61 kWh). The launch will take place later this month.
Volkswagen Tayron R-Line

Last on this list is the flagship premium seven-seater electric SUV, the Tayron R-Line from Volkswagen. This SUV will rival the Toyota Fortuner and the newly launched MG Majestor in India. Currently, the company has commenced the pre-bookings of this SUV with a token amount of Rs 51,000. It gets full-width LED DRLs, HD LED matrix IQ lights with animation, and sporty R-Line styling.
On the inside, it will come loaded with a massive 15-inch touchscreen infotainment system, three-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, 12-way adjustable seats, ambient lighting, and many others. Powering the Volkswagen Tayron R-Line will be a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine capable of making 201 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. Pricing is expected to be in the range of Rs 50–55 lakh.
