5-star hotel in Dubai receives 1-star ratings after missile debris falls on facade
Videos of smoke and flames rising from the Fairmont The Palm hotel on the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah appeared on Feb. 28 on various online platforms.
The images showed the building’s facade on fire accompanied by explosions, a scene described as a “battlefield,” according to the New York Post.

Authorities confirmed the fire was under control but did not release information about casualties inside the hotel.
Witnesses at the scene said the incident caused panic among those in the vicinity.
Following the incident, the hotel received a wave of one-star ratings on Google Reviews.
