Kia India was formally awarded the certificate at a special ceremony, where the BNCAP certificate was handed over by Hon’ble Minister for Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) Nitin Gadkari.

According to the India NCAP assessment, the all-new Kia Seltos performed well in crash situations, where it scored 31.70 points for Adult Occupant Protection, the highest among ICE vehicles tested so far, and for Child Occupant Protection. Scored 45.00 points, the highest ever recorded score. This brings the combined score to 76.70 points, the highest among ICE vehicles tested under BNCAP. With this, the brand’s focus on comprehensive passenger safety has been strengthened. This result demonstrates the engineering potential of the new K3 platform.
