Desk: A car was recovered from the forest of Mandori amid the ongoing Income Tax raid in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. When the car was examined, gold and cash were found in it. The Income Tax team recovered 52 kg gold and Rs 10 crore cash from the car. The value of the recovered gold in the market has been estimated at Rs 40 crore 47 lakh.

RTO is written on the car found in the forest and it is registered in the name of Chandan Gaur. It is being told that Chandan Gaur is close to former transport constable Saurabh Sharma. Saurabh Sharma's office and residence was raided by Lokayukta on 18 December. During this raid, cash worth Rs 85 lakh and jewelery worth Rs 50 lakh were recovered. Saurabh Sharma is a former minister and is considered close to many officials and leaders.
