7 Years of Mersal OTT Release: Veteran Tamil actor Vijay Thalapathy’s blockbuster film ‘Mersal’ will be arriving in the OTT Platforms after successfully completing 7 years in the film industry. The Thalapathy fans can enjoy watching the film on Zee5 and OTT Play Premium App.
The Tamil action thriller was released in 2017 and it stars Vijay Thalapathy in the lead roles. The South actor is seen in triple role in the film. After the film completes 6 years, the makers decides to bring it in the OTT for the thalapathy fans.
Popular actor Vijay Thalapathy and director Atlee have earlier worked in 3 films. The film was shot in Poland, Jaisalmer and Rajasthan, and it enjoyed a grand release during Diwali.
Plot
The story follows the life of a doctors who is falsely arrested in the murder charge of one of his colleagues. However things take a dramatic turn when the killer is his look alike.
And he wants to bring down corruption in the Medical Industry. The killer is on a mission to eliminate all corrupt people including medical practitioners, doctors, surgeons in the medical field.
Meanwhile, both Maaran and Vetri are unaware of the fact that they are brothers. However, the film reflects a lot of drama, twists and turns, including action, family drama and emotions. The film received positive response from the fans and critics.
The film has a big star cast which includes SJ Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Nithya Menen, Sathyaraj, Vadivelu, Hareesh Peradi, Kovai Sarala and Sathyan in pivotal roles.
Tamil actor Vijay Thalapathy and director Atlee have earlier worked in ‘Bigil’ and ‘Theri’. The screenplay is done by V Vijayendra Prasad and S Ramana Girivasan and the Cinematography by GK Vishnu.
