Plot
The story of the show follows the life of the United States Ambassador Kate Wyler. Kate is assigned to investigate an explosion and the attack on a british aurcraft carrier.
The U.S ambassador discovers some shocking truths while investigating the case. She comes to know that people within the government are behind the attacks. As she investigates further..
She learns about Trowbridge’s possible links with Russia. The second will also reflect the entry of U.S Vice-President who thinks Kate is after her job. Kate will also share a complicated relationship with British Foreign Secretary Austin Dennison.
In the second season, Kate will also face problems in her marriage and the repercussions of her actions. The second season will start from where exactly the first season was finished.
The U.S ambassador also tries to discover the hidden facts which conspired against her and almost made her a widow. Kate was warned by the CIA station chief about her actions.
The series was last premiered on Netflix on April 20, 2023. It was renewed for a second season again in May, 2023. The actor Keri Russell was also nominated for a Screen Actor’s Guild Award.
And Golden Globe Award for Best actress in a drama series.
