Meiyazhagan OTT Release: The streaming date of the Tamil Drama is finally shared by the makers, the film will be available for streaming on 27th October on Netflix. The film stars veteran South actor Arvind Swamy and it will be released in multiple languages.
Plot
The story of the Tamil drama follows the life of a 40-year-old man who has to leave his hometown due to unavoidable reasons but things take a dramatic turn when he has to come back to his home-town for unavoidable reasons.
The man named Arul bids farewell to his hometown in Thanjavur and decides never to come back again. He along with his father, mother, and wife leaves the city with a heavy heart. After over 20 years..
Her cousin invites him to attend her wedding. Arul didn’t want to go but decided to attend the reception and come back soon. However, when he arrives in Thanjavur he gets emotional again.
Arul decides to buy his rented house in Chennai and shares the idea with his wife. Arul meets a man in the reception who tells him some stories about his past life when Arul used to stay in Thanjavur.
While attending the reception, Arul feels a lot of emotions and finds it difficult to suppress them. Arul struggles hard to hold his emotions when he visits his old house
The film was originally announced in February 2023 with the title ‘Karthi 27’, as this was the main actor’s 27th film.It was released worldwide on September 27, 2024. The main character Arvind Swamy’s performance was highly praised by the critics.
