Bollywood Actor’Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic Television Series ‘Fauji’ to re-return on the Big Screen with a new plot

New Delhi: In some good news for all the Shah Rukh fans, the bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s most iconic television series ‘Fauji’ is making a comeback on the television but with a new cast, plot and a storyline.  The show was premiered on Doordarshan in 1989 and became a massive hit.

The audience loved the story angle, especially the character played by King Khan. Shah Rukh played the role of Captain Abhimanyu Rai in the show and garnered a lot of praise and love from the audience.

The story of the show follows the life of some fresh recruits who begin their training to become commandos in the Indian Army. The show also reflects the life, challenges and struggles these recruits face when they join the Indian Army.

The punishments they receive from the seniors when they fail to perform their task or unable to adhere to the rules and regulations during the training. The Makers of the show are also excited about the show coming back on TV.

The director of the show Raj Kumar Kapoor said that ‘Fauji’ was the debut of super star Shah Rukh in the Indian Television and it follows the life of the Indian Army and he portrayed the role of Captain Abhimanyu Rai.

Doordarshan’s director also commented and said that as we look forward to the release of ‘Fauji 2’ it is important to connect with the older and iconic version of the original show and celebrate the legacy before the new chapter begins.

Shah Rukh made his hindi film debut in 1992 with the film ‘Deewana’ opposite Divya Bharti and Rishi Kapoor. The film was a blockbuster hit and received amazing response at the box office.
